Homegrown Revolution: Urban Farming Family Grows 6000 Pounds of Food on 1/10th of an Acre

Horn of plentyHave you heard the wonderful story about how, over twenty years, one family in Pasadena, CA has transformed their property from an urban home into a lush, productive urban homestead? On their 1/10th of an acre lot, they are able to raise three tons of organic fruits and vegetables each year, and are exploring other forms of self-sufficiency, such as water conservation, food preservation, biodiesel production, solar ovens and alternative energy. They even have chickens, ducks, and goats!
